About the artist: Slayyyter is an American producer, singer, songwriter, and rapper who began her career releasing songs through SoundCloud. Her high-energy electronic pop sound is bound to get any listener out of their seat.

About the album: WOR$T GIRL IN AMERICA is Slayyyter’s third studio album, released on March 27, 2026, through Columbia Records.

Reviews:

Album cover: This album cover is so good. I love how the album title is on the hat of the man sitting next to her, and I really enjoy how the only text is the huge dollar sign right in the middle. I also love the rough, worn-down look of the outfits.

I think the look of the cover contradicts the use of the $, it’s awesome. I give this cover a 10/10. I really love it.

Songs:

DANCE…: I love how the intro to this song is a slow progression, a perfect way to start an album. Slayyyter’s voice is also so goregous and satisfying. I love the use of echo voice effects on this song, also.

This song has such a great vibe. Definitely go give this one a listen. 9/10!

BEAT UP CHANEL$: This song starts off hot. I just really love the carefree lyrics. This song almost sounds like its being performed through a megaphone.

The production is also great; it’s such a fun, girly yet grungy, danceable song. I loved listening to this, it’s a 10/10.

CANNIBALISM!: No wonder this album hit the charts quickly, the production on these tracks is crazy. I love the purposeful shakiness in Slayyyter’s voice in this one. The lyrics are once again super fun.

The combination of heavy production with her vocals is amazing. This song is a 9/10!

OLD TECHNOLOGY: This album is just full of awesome party songs. Every song fits the same vibe with the production and her vocals, yet each song still sounds different from one another. I love when artists have a distinct style, but can still make every song sound different.

This is just another track with great production, fun lyrics, and great vocals! This is a 9/10!

CRANK: This is like one of the loudest songs I’ve ever heard. Wow, I absolutely love it. I want to hear this at every club I ever go to until I die.

The production on this song is out of this world, and I just love hearing Slayyyter yell. Her voice has this gorgeous raspiness to it that just really seals the deal.

“Crank” is an easy 10/10 for me.

GAS STATION: This song reflects on Slayyyter’s personal flashback of being left at the gas station as a child. This one has such an electronic, digital sound to it. I love how every song seems to have a voice effect added, but each one is different.

This song has a bit of a slower sound than the last ones. It’s still upbeat, but a slight change in pace that I love. This song is a 9/10!

YES GODDD: If you happen to listen to this song on Spotify, you’ll be blessed with the most insane visuals ever. There’s a reason this was Slayyyter’s first song to top the Billboard charts. Once again, I love her raspy yelling.

This song has such a sick beat to it. This is another really loud, insane, fun track. This is another easy 10/10 from me.

UNKNOWN LOVERZ: I love how it feels like every other song changes in pace. This song is dreamier than the others for sure. This song is lovely, yet still incredibly danceable.

I love the vibe that this one has; it’s almost euphoric. “UNKNOWN LOVERZ” is a 10/10.

OLD FLING$: This song also has a bit of a dreamy vibe, but it’s a bit faster in pace than the previous one. Pretty much this entire song is sung with voice effects over it, which actually really amplifies the listening experience.

Her music so far is so cute and girly yet so alternative. I feel like this album was made for me. This song is a 9/10.

I’M ACTUALLY KINDA FAMOUS: This track is almost trippy. There’s definitely more speaking in this song, but I’m totally okay with it, considering she’s done so much singing throughout the rest of this album. This is another song with insanely good production.

Definitely go give this one a listen. It’s a 9/10!

$T. LOSER: This song is a bit of a conflicted tribute to Slayyyter’s St. Louis roots. I love how she reuses some lyrics from previous songs; it really ties the album together. I really enjoy this song; it doesn’t stand out as much to me, but I still love it.

I do love the high note she hits at the end. This song is an 8/10.

WHAT IS IT LIKE, TO BE LIKED?: Her voice is sooo good. This song has both a dreamy feel to it, but it keeps the great production. I feel like this song can also be really relatable, which only adds to its charm.

This is such a good song, I give it another 10/10.

*PRAYER*: This song is just a short little prayer from Slayyyter, as the title implies. I love the organ sound in the back, as it fits the theme yet sounds slightly distorted. I also love how this transitions into the final track.

This short “*PRAYER*” is an 8/10.

BRITTANY MURPHY.: This song mentions the late Brittany Murphy, an actress who passed away in 2009 at the young age of 32. This one is also a song of Slayyyter’s self-reflection, showing the listeners a more vulnerable side before concluding this album. The production throughout this album has remained consistently great.

This song is such a great one to close this incredible album. I give it a 10/10.

OVERALL RATING: 9.3/10

This album was so insanely good. I’m never going to stop listening to this one. Immediately added to all of my playlists.

This album was loud, girly, grungy, real, and danceable. If you listen to any of the albums I’ve ever reviewed on my website, let it be this one.
